FAQ's
Absolutely, I will come to your home to meet you and most importantly your fur baby. During your free consultation I will be able to go through all the necessary paperwork and consent forms. This is required before any dog walking/ pop ins can take place. I will also show you my Public Liability Insurance, CRB and Canine First Aid Certificate.
The walk time will be for as long as you have booked however (potentially) this could be longer than the allocation time, due to collections and drop offs if you have booked for a pack walk.
All walks will be in a safe and stimulating environment where your fur baby can have a good time. Depending on where you live and if you have requested a group or solo walk will depend on where your fur baby is walked. For group walks, I will plan ahead, and walks will be in or around the area of the last pick up.
My insurance allows me to walk a maximum of 6 dogs at any one time.
This will all depend on what you have requested for your fur baby. I will happily do whatever you choose. If you would like your fur baby to be walked off lead this will be from as soon as I feel confident, they have a good recall with me.Â
Yes, this is all part of the service.
No, lots of my clients provide me with a key to their home which enables me to collect and drop off your fur baby while you are out. All keys are marked with a number that represents your fur baby and will never be marked with any identification to you or your home. All keys are kept in a secure locked key safe. I am also CRB checked for peace of mind.
If your fur baby needs to be transported for their walk my van is fully ventilated and equipped with dog crates for fur baby’s who prefer to travel in a secure cage or for those that love to spread out, I have mattresses and doggie seat belts to ensure their comfort and safety.Â
Every evening the van is cleaned inside and fresh bedding provided ready for the next day.
Not only for the welfare of your fur baby but for your home too, I will ensure your fur baby is dried off and as clean as possible. When entering your home I will either remove my boots or wear over shoes to protect your floors.
Yes every time your fur baby is walked you will receive photos and messages. These may not be sent until the end of the day as I’m sure you will understand my time with your fur baby is most important.
I will use all my own leads, treats, poo bags etc. Unless you would prefer me to use your own.
During the winter months if you can please leave a towel by the door for drying your fur baby after a fun but wet adventure!
Please do always ask if you need an extra day or to swap a day, I will do everything possible to accommodate you and your fur baby. Like most things the more notice provided the better the chances of me being able to accommodate you.
I would ask that a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is provided on any regular booking to avoid any cancellation fees.
The easiest way to pay would be Bank transfer. Cash also accepted.
